The Tier System
Here on SDSRPG, we don't use any form of stat system to determine the general power level of a character. This only gives a baseline in terms of general power and doesn't determine the overall power of a character which would be determined by your strengths, weaknesses, perks and other abilities you choose when creating your character. The tiers below will be listed from lowest to highest.
The Tiers
7 Tier3 - The lowest tier comprised of the weakest characters. Most of these haven't even scratched the surface of their powers or abilities. Untrained and outmatched in almost every way.
2 - These characters have decided enough is enough and have started to train, not gaining much in terms of strength but showing some slight growth, enough to not be considered a maggot anymore.
1 - By now, these characters have trained enough to be considered the average for what is normally possible for most people. This is the generic starting point for most characters who want to grow their power from the average person.
6 Tier3 - These characters have officially broken the glass ceiling and are on the road to power, but are still taking baby steps. They have only just begun really training their magical power or taking to a particular school of study be it magic or weaponry.
2 - These characters are both strong but also still hopelessly weak in the grand scheme of things. They are leagues ahead of the lesser tiers, but eons too soon to consider taking on any of the higher tiers.
1 - At this point, a character is figuring out who they are and are beginning to find themselves in their training. Once they do so, they can break yet another barrier and become someone far more admirable.
5 Tier3 - It is at this point that most people would begin to be recruited for an entry position to one of the factions or organizations throughout Britannia. You have found your niche and only need a guiding hand in gaining experience with it.
2 - As you gain more experience, you will find new areas to improve upon and will begin the slow, painstaking process of honing your craft and bettering yourself daily. You are getting stronger but you still have a long path ahead.
1 - At this point, you are almost ready to take that next step towards promotion in your organization or are on the verge of a breakthrough with your training and just need that final push to improve even further.
4 Tier3 - By now you have made some step up in your power and experience in using it. Moving up in the ranks of your organization or just showing some real progress with your training, there is no doubt that you are growing at this point.
2 - As you train and learn and improve yourself, you are sure to come across things that you do not excel in, these weaknesses can break a person, but they can also show your tenacity in finding ways to improve yourself regardless of your weaknesses.
1 - At this point, you are an experienced and highly trained individual. You are probably being scouted for a new role within your organization or are preparing yourself to achieve even greater status as you increase the intensity of your training even more.
3 Tier3 - By now, you have been picked up by a mentor in your organization or have found one to aid in your training and are being groomed for something greater than yourself, or are preparing to reach new heights.
2 - Your time training with a mentor or even solo has continued to pay off as you continuously improve! The more you work at self-improvement, the stronger you will become as time goes on.
1 - By now, you have been selected to begin the grooming process for a higher rank, a leadership role or you have simply reached yet another wall to overcome through sheer force of will and countless hours of intense training.
2 Tier3 - Characters of this level are acting as mentors to others and are acting as guiding hands to coach them in the right direction. This doesn't mean you can slack off on your own training though and you must remain diligent.
2 - As you improve, so do your mentee's, both of you learning and improving through the shared experience of leading and following. You are learning a lot by leading and gaining new and valuable experiences.
1 - Your power continues to increase and you have found that as you have grown stronger your body and mind have continued to evolve to facilitate this incredible growth that continues to surprise even you.
1 Tier3 - At this tier you have reached the heights you once dreamed of. You are probably a leader in your organization or close to becoming one. You have made such great strides in your training that you hardly recognize yourself.
2 - As you have continued growing and learning, by now you are at least somewhat experienced at leading your faction or are growing accustomed to the amount of power you have achieved after all the hard work you have put in.
1 - You have done it, reached a peak many deem impossible, but yet you reached it all the same. You have attained a level many never reach, but even still, you feel that you may still have room for improvement.
0 Tier3 - You have broken the final glass ceiling and have ascended into the ranks of what many call legends and some may even call gods. You are capable of mythical levels of strength and feats of agility. Your training has put you into a tier all your own.
2 - Was that last tier good enough for you? Heck no! nothing ever is! You kept growing and training and never giving up and now you are on the true road to undeniable power. By now, you are nigh untouchable to the lowest ranks and even the middle ranks can't really keep up with you.
1 - You have reached the highest possible level, the absolute peak of even beings considered celestial in nature. You can handle anything the world throws at you, chew it up and spit it back out, because you are now disgustingly powerful.
